With Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Gabbar Is Back” comes back the legendary villain of Sholay. It is Akshay Kumar who plays the role of Gabbar this time, but in a different perspective. He stands up for virtuous guys. In the present yet to be released film “Gabbar is Back”, Akshay Kumar may be seen reciting such iconic dialogues as “Ab Tera Kya Hoga Kaaliya” and “Kitne AAdmi The” quoting from the original film Sholay.
The present teaser contains many twisted dialogues of the original Sholay, and these would reflect the difference in the roles of the two “Gabbars”. In the present third teaser of Gabbar is Back, the lead character says ‘Pachaas Pachaas kos dur jab koi rishwat leta hai to sab kehte hain, mat le varna Gabbar aa jayega’. It exhibits the difference between the roles of the two Gabbars.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali teamed up with Akshay Kumar again after their success with Rowdy Rathor. The film “Gabbar is Back” depicts the story of an underground vigilante having a secret identity who had lost all in a freak accident. He is then transformed into a hero with villainous instinct. The film, written by AR Murugadoss and Shiraz Ahmed and directed by Krish, is a remake of Murugodoss directed Tamil film Ramanna. It also stars Prakash Raj, Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar, and Sunil Grover in lead roles. Kareena Kapoor is scheduled to do a cameo in this film. The film is scheduled to be released on 1st May, the International Labour Day.
