Alcon Entertainment has announced that Harrison Ford 72, has signed up for replicating his role as replicant hunter Rick Deckard in a sequel of Blade Runner. This occurs 33 years after the film first premiered.

The executive producer on the sequel is expected to be Ridley Scott the British director who was the one responsible for the Camera of the dystopian neonoir in 1982.

The joining of the journey by Harrison makes both Broderick and producer Kosove to feel they are honoured.

Though Ford has keen interest on the script but they have not confirmed the return of the actor to play the given role, claims Scott.

In an interview Ford confirmed that he is there to play a role and he has ambitions to fulfil, this will be the third time Ford will be seen returning for iconic role.
