The company confirmed that there will be no franchise announcements at BlizzCon 2017
Blizzard prepares everything for BlizzCon 2017, event that will take place on November 3 and 4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, United States. As in previous editions, players have high expectations for this encounter, where the company will surely reveal some interesting surprises about its main franchises.
Of course, one of them is Diablo and fans of the game are eager for new news about the series. Unfortunately, this does not happen soon, as Brandy Camel, manager of the Blizzard community, said there will be no news of Diablo in BlizzCon 2017.
In spite of this, Camel also gave hope to the followers of Diablo. This we tell you since the member of the company assured that yes they work in something new and that will be announced in the future. “This year … we will not make any new announcements about Diablo. There will be some time for that sometime in the future, but that moment is not now,” Camel said.
In the last edition of BlizzCon began the festivities for the 20th anniversary of the franchise, that’s where they revealed Rise of the Necromancer. This year the game will have an important participation in the event, thanks to multiple panels that will carry out Blizzard.
“Patch 2.6.1 is on the horizon. Looking beyond that, we are working hard on Diablo’s future and exploring what’s coming to the franchise. Please be patient. Our passion for the Sanctuary burns as bright as the high heavens and as hot as the burning Hell, and we are thrilled to prostrate ourselves and to work! “Camel finished.
Josh Mosqueira, director of the console versions of Diablo III, talked about the process of bringing the title to these systems. This latest installment of the saga has been a success, since it has sold more than 20 million copies. In this link you will find more news about the franchise.
