Bethesda celebrates debut of SNES Classic Edition
It’s no secret that Bethesda and Nintendo currently have a good relationship thanks to titles like DOOM, Skyrim and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are on the way to Nintendo Switch. For this reason, we were not surprised when Bethesda Softworks celebrated the arrival of the SNES Classic Edition with an art that shows us what would be the cover of Skyrim if it had come to Super Nintendo.
As you will see, the image that Bethesda shared does not disagree with the 16-bit era, since its art and typography really looks like other RPGs of the time. In addition, it presents interesting details like the quality gold seal of Nintendo, as well as the logo that Bethesda used in the decade of the 90.
What did you think of this image? How do you think Skyrim would have been if it had debuted year earlier as a Super Nintendo RPG? Tell us in the comments.
In other news, at the beginning of the week began the pre-sale of the SNES Classic Edition on Amazon Mexico and sold out in minutes. If you did not get your mini SNES, we remind you that Nintendo said that it increased drastically the production of this product, so you are likely to get lucky and find one.
