Google is adding a new feature to Google Maps: a new feature is now available, but only in India. The innovation has a first background.
In cooperation with the Indian Ministry of Urban Development, GoogleSEO is launching a new feature for Google Maps for beginners: as reported by the International Business Times India, Google will soon launch the Toilet Locator, which will allow public toilets to be found nearby.
What in principle sounds like a sensible expansion of the car service has a serious background in India: About 70 per cent of the Indian population does not have direct access to its own toilet and is therefore dependent on public facilities not to have to ease the environment .
For this reason, there will be the new toilet search in the capital region, which will find public toilets in department stores, petrol stations or hospitals. The service should start in the second half of November.
