Johnny Depp and Amber Heard officially got married last week in Los Angeles. The first ceremony was small and confidential and the couple decided to strengthen their union with another vow exchange on a Depp’s private island in the Bahamas, which he bought for $3.6 million. In 2009, he described the place as “I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom.”
The second wedding ceremony that put the star couple into limelight was held on Amber beach (that was named after Heard) in the shadow of a white marquee. Among the guests were nearest and dearest only. Just two dozen sits were noticed at the seashore and on another island’s spot, a place of stunning beauty, a large table was set.
Mr. Depp’s children, Lily-Rose, 15 and Jack, 12, were attending the ceremony and the guest list included Amber’s sister who was one of the bridesmaids. The bride wore a white Stella McCartney gown and the groom accompanied her with a white tuxedo.
Mr. Depp’s ex-wife Vanessa Paradis is apparently irked at the new Johnny’s passion. She is afraid that the young starlet will try to pull the cash out of Depp’s pocket. Although, it looks like her opinion doesn’t matter anything to Johnny who is “madly in love” with Amber.
Johnny and Amber met on the set of the “Rum Diary” movie in 2011. He proposed to her in 2014 but hadn’t announced the wedding. Eventually, the couple got married and, despite of all rumors wandering around, now is seemingly happy. According to the source, “<Amber>… is a free-thinker and an independent woman who makes her own decisions, her presence has changed his life.”
