Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, holds regular meetings each month, where he answers questions from Facebook staff, as well as users. He has held these meetings all over the world, and this week was in Barcelona. One of the questions he was asked was about what he looks for when hiring employees, and what sort of person stands out to him.

Zuckerberg had one simple answer; he would hire someone if he would like to have them as his boss. He claimed that if he would want to work for a person, then he would be happy having that person work for him. He used this method when hiring Sheryl Sandberg, who is now one of the most famous females in the tech world, to be the chief operating officer of Facebook. Zuckerberg is extremely satisfied with his decision to hire Sandberg and believes that she has helped to turn Facebook into a thriving business, as well as acting as a sort of mentor to Zuckerberg along the way. What Does Mark Zuckerberg Look for When Hiring

Zuckerberg also believes that one of the most important things in business is to keep your team as small as possible. Although Facebook has more than one billion users, based all over the world, the Facebook team consists of just 10,000 members of staff, far less than other tech firms of that size. By using technology in an optimum way, Zuckerberg is able to run the company with the minimum number of employees.
