Donald Trump wants to bring as many jobs from Asia back to the USA. Apple has ever asked what an iPhone produced in the US would cost. The supplier Foxconn has but rather bad news for the apple company.

One of Donald Trump’s promises in the past few months has been bringing back many of the old industrial jobs back to the US, which have been outsourced to Asia as a result of globalization.
The technology giant Apple apparently did not have apparently apparently actually asked its suppliers what an iPhone production in the USA would cost, as reported “Nikkei Asian Review”.
Foxconn, one of the largest Apple partners, has reckoned. A production in the USA would thus cost more than twice as much as the current one in the Far East. According to Nikkei, industry experts also doubt that the US industry could handle iPhone production in terms of capacity and know-how.
