The expectation from the iPhone is quite simple, it is only an upgrade in their hardware, not a brand new technology, nor an efficient or fast production. The company sold 74 million of smart phones which is more than most of the counties’ populations. Will the company be able to increase their sales with the help of a new hardware update? If not, they will have a challenging times for the 2016 since their sales dropped a lot in the first quarter of this year.

Apple is planning to launch a new iPad model as well as a new iPhone model with a smaller screen this month, The New York Times reports.

In a longer story about the jumbo-sized iPad Pro and how it’s catching on among creatives and professionals, Brian X. Chen writes:

“Apple also plans to introduce another new iPad model alongside a smaller iPhone in an event this month, according to a person briefed on the devices, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the plans were confidential.”

Previous reports from 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman have indicated that Apple is planning an event later this month where it will launch:

A new 9.7-inch iPad, the same size as the current iPad Air 2. However, Gurman indicates he believes it will be fit into the iPad Pro line, which is Apple’s line of professionally-oriented tablets.
