The President of the United StatesDonald Trump, has risen to Twitter assembly of himself giving a medal of honor to the military dog involved in the raid that killed the leader of the Islamic State (EI), Abu Bakr al – Baghdadi.

The image is a modified version of a real photograph of Trump hanging the medal of honor in 2017 to a retired army doctor, James McCloughan. The toilet was honored to save the lives of 10 people during the Vietnam War.

In the picture, Trump has replaced McCloughan’s head with the dog’s head. The first time the president published the photo of the dog was Tuesday, noting that the image of the dog had been declassified but that its name has not yet. This Thursday, when uploading the assembly giving him the medal, he seems to have confirmed the name of the dog without saying if this data was still classified or not.

“The real version of Conan will leave the Middle East next week to come to the White House!” Trump tweeted alongside the assembly.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the dog “performed a tremendous service, as everyone does.” Conan has become a national hero in the US since Trump revealed that it was the dog who chased Al Bagdadi through a tunnel until the IS leader was cornered, so he chose to commit suicide with an explosive belt before of being captured.

The president also revealed last weekend during a speech at the White House that the dog had been injured. The Pentagon reported later that the dog had had to be intervened, but “was recovering.”

The dog has already participated in about 50 missions

The head of the US Central Command, Frank McKenzie, has explained to some media that the dog has worked in special operations for four years and has participated in some 50 missions .

The Conan breed, a Belgian Malinois dog, is the same as the animal that the US military used in the raid that killed Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in 2011.
