GoPro has officially launched the next generation of its most popular action camera, so if you were waiting for it you can now buy the GoPro HERO6 Black. And yes, as the leaks indicated a few days ago, the company has listened to fans and has included video recording with 4K resolution at 60 fps.

Undoubtedly, the series HERO is the one that has a better reception among the public. Not in vain, its predecessor the GoPro HERO5 has managed to place the first in the ranking of the best-selling action cameras of 2017 in the United States. This model is capable of recording at a resolution of 4K and 30 fps, and with the new version the company has met the main request of users, who wanted an improvement to capture video at a higher frame rate.

The new camera for athletes offers a response to these requests. Its performance is twice as high as the previous generation: it can record in 4K quality at 60 fps, or slow motion at 1080p at 240 fps. This is possible thanks to its GP1 processor, which allows to double the speed of video frames, in addition to automatically optimize other issues. Among them, it improves image quality, dynamic range and poor performance in low light, and its stabilization system is also better.

In the photographic section also has undergone a small improvement and now mounts a 12 MP sensor with options of bursts of 30 fps. It has RAW and HDR shooting modes.
