Jamaica’s Olympic team wrote a message on their social networks to ask Donald Trump, the current president of the United States, to leave Usain Bolt away from his controversy.

The US president, who is in full conflict with his country’s athletes, published a video of a Usain Bolt during the London Olympics in 2012. In the recording, a journalist from TVE interviews the Jamaican athlete after a race when this asks him to stop because the American anthem sounds.

Next to this video, Trump wrote “Until Usain Bolt of Jamaica, one of the best runners and athletes of all time showed respect for our national anthem!”.

The Jamaican champion did not appear at the moment, but his team did not like the reference of the American president.
